The Corners You Take Home

The Corners You Take Home

There’s a certain moment that happens in Fredericksburg - not when you arrive, but when you slow down.

It might be halfway down Caroline Street, when something in a shop window catches your eye. Or when you look up and notice the overhead steeple you somehow missed. It is there, in the in-between spaces, the corners, the details, the things you don’t plan to see, where the city really reveals itself.

That feeling is what this artwork collection is about.

This week, I’m introducing five new artworks inspired by these moments - the ones that feel small when they happen, but stay with you long after you’ve left. The are familiar places, but seen a little differently. They are not just landmarks, but impressions. Glimpses.

Each piece is designed to feel like the memory you want to hold onto.

The scene is something you recognize immediately… and then look at a little longer, noticing subtle details.

Because the charm of Fredericksburg isn’t loud. It doesn’t demand attention. It rewards it.

And maybe that’s why we want to take a piece of it home.

A Small Launch, A Growing Collection

These five works are just the beginning.

A larger collection is already in progress and will be arriving this fall - expanding on the same idea of place, detail, and quiet recognition. More streets. More corners. More of the moments you almost miss.

If you’ve ever thought, “I wish I could remember this exactly as it felt,” - that’s where this is going.

Take One With You

If one of these pieces feels familiar to you, trust that instinct.

Bring it home. Let it live somewhere you’ll see it often.

And if you’d like first access to the Fall collection drop, you can subscribe to my emails for an early look before anything is released publicly.

The best details tend to go quickly.
